However, the unique scissor lift system required something a bit more specialized than just a standard trailer. The trailer and deck needed to be able to provide the structural strength, stability, and balance necessary to support guests while elevated 30 feet above the ground.

Built As The Skeleton Of The Attraction
The Fleming team essentially built the “skeleton” of the finished elevated attraction–a purpose-built trailer foundation that had an open design and strategically placed crossmembers in lieu of a deck that allowed Sky High Dining to install its lift system directly to the base of the trailer.
